The Big Tuna series is especially great for the SoCal style of fishing since we are constantly changing between different types of lures such as irons, stickbaits, poppers and more, with some of the heavier models giving you enough power to fish 40lbs of drag. Best of all they’re mixed with enough glass to be able to comfortably maintain a 60 degree high stick bend while the fish is away from the boat and weigh in at well under half of a typical rail rod.
