The second lip mid belly creates a lift force and resistance against the body, which dramatically improves the response and action at lower speed retrieves. So it swims well with a variety of retrieve speeds, from slow, medium and fast retrieve speeds. G control also has body rolling action along with a slight erratic kick setting apart, and above, other heavy minnow lures.
